Double-sided silicon strip detectors with integrated coupling capacitors and polysilicon resistors have been processed on a 100 mm wafer. A detector with an active area of 19 × 19 mm2 was connected to LSI readout electronics and tested. The strip pitch of the detector is 25 μm on the p-side and 50 μm on the n-side. The readout pitch is 50 μm on both sides. The number of readout strips is 774 and the total number of strips is 1161. On the p-side a signal-to-noise of 35 has been measured using a 90Sr β-source. Samples of a low alloy steel piping material taken from the full scale corrosion fatigue test loop of the Heissdampfreaktor (HDR) plant have been tested at 240°C in high oxygen reactor water. The small-scale specimens (CT25) were exposed to a similar loading spectrum to that which has been used in the full-scale corrosion fatigue tests at the HDR-plant. During the autoclave tests cyclic crack growth rates were determined. Fracture surface investigations were performed not only for the laboratory test specimens but also for the fracture surface of a sample taken from the HDR test loop piping after the full scale test. In this paper the autoclave testing results and fracture surface observations are presented and compared to those obtained in the HDR piping tests.  相似文献

Radiolabelled antisense oligodeoxynucleotides have been used for in vivo biokinetic studies in AIDS and cancer patients. The therapeutic possibilities are still unknown and the major question in therapeutic use of radio-oligonucleotide is the optimal source of radiation. We studied the pharmacokinetics and in vivo tissue distribution for oligodeoxynucleotide phosphorothioates by using the data from three different radionuclides: sulphur-35 (t1/2 = 87.4 days, maximum beta-energy = 167 keV), phosphorus-33 (t1/2 = 24.4 days, maximum beta-energy = 250 keV) and phosphorus-32 (t1/2 = 14.3 days, maximum beta-energy = 2270 keV). The absorbed doses of 32P-, 33P- and 35S-labelled oligonucleotides were estimated using the published biodistribution data for several oligonucleotides in two animal models for both tumour xenografts and AIDS. The local energy absorption of 33P turned out to be higher than that of 32P if the mass was smaller than approximately 300 micrograms, and the local absorption of 35S was higher than that of 32P when the mass was <80 micrograms. In a mouse tumour xenograft model an i.v. injected activity seemed to achieve sufficient radiation doses in the tumour: in a 1 g tumour 4.9 Gy for 32P, 5.1 Gy for 33P and 5.5 Gy for 35S were calculated when the kidney dose was kept as 5 Gy. In the same model in smaller tumours the doses were for a 1 mg tumour 0.73 Gy (32P), 5.1 Gy (33P) and 5.5 Gy (35S), and for a 1 microgram tumour 0.08 Gy (32P), 3.1 Gy (33P) and 3.9 Gy (35S). Thus, 33P and 35S have more beneficial radiotherapeutic characteristics than 32P. Relative advantage factors (33P and 35S versus 32P) for kidney and liver doses using these nuclides varied from 0.997 to 1.001 for a 1 g tumour and there was no difference in the radiation dose to normal organs. Therefore, we conclude that in oligonucleotide radiotherapy tumours >1 g should be treated with 32P, whereas smaller tumours should be treated with 33P or 35S. There is no significant difference between 33P and 35S, and either radionuclide could be selected according to labelling properties.  相似文献

10 dB gain–, 15 GHz-Bandwidth amplifier has been designed andfabricated in InP-HBT technology. Operation of the amplifier was achieved at1.7 V at total current consumption of 40 mA. The amplifier designed to havea Bessel-transfer-function has almost constant group delay up to 30 GHz.Pulse- and eye-diagram- measurements have been performed to verify largesignal operation. At 3.3 V, 24 dB gain and 10 GHz bandwidth was achieved.The 1dB compression point at 1.7 V supply voltage is measured at –10dBm output power.  相似文献

This paper presents a theoretical overview and analysis of clock jitter in a switched capacitor (SC) Sigma-Delta (ΣΔ) Analog-to-Digital Converter (ADC). We start by defining three different types of jitter effects and proceed to analyze their impact, both mathematically and by simulations. The main jitter assumption throughout this analysis is that it is stochastic white Gaussian noise. Using this assumption, the ΣΔ performance is characterized in terms of Signal-to-Jitter-Noise-Ratio (SJNR) for each jitter effect. Non-uniform sampling effects have, to some extent, been characterized in litterature (S.R. Norsworthy, R. Schreier and G.C. Temes, Delta-Sigma Data ConvertersTheory, Design and Simulation, IEEE Press, New Jersey, 1997). However, varying phase-length effects are also a main focus in this work since they can have a significant impact on the total ADC performance depending on settling accuracy and characteristic. Furthermore, because SC circuits usually operate on a two-phase clock, jitter may give rise to a secondary effect, phase overlap, which does not appear when dealing with a single-phase clock. This effect severely degrades the resolution of a ΣΔ and therefore a thorough understanding of the interaction of jitter on the two phases is necessary.  相似文献

The protein of distal halves of barley kernels or small meal samples was extracted with ethanolic sodium hydroxide solution. After dilution, the protein content was estimated with a spectrophotometer by measurements at 215 and 225 nm. The tryptophan content was estimated from the same extract by a spectrophotofluorimeter. The methods showed high correlations with those used for control. The presented methods can be used in screening kernels in segregating ears or selecting single plants.  相似文献

Various supported gold catalysts were utilized in aerobic lactose oxidation. Comparison between these catalysts revealed, that gold catalysts are sensitive to the type of support. Kinetic regularities, e.g. dependence on pH, temperature and oxygen feed rate were established. Gold catalysts were selective for the production of the first reaction product, sodium salt of lactobionic acid. The electrochemical catalyst potential response was measured “in situ” and then utilized in the reaction process characterization.  相似文献

The effect of metallurgical variables on the two most important crack growth mechanisms - stable crack growth by environmentally assisted cyclic crack growth and unstable crack growth by cleavage - in light water reactor pressure vessel steels is evaluated. The analyses are based on micromechanisms of fracture and sensitivity analysis, when applicable. Metallurgical variables considered are non-metallic inclusions and carbides as well as other parameters through their effects on yield strength and other mechanical properties.  相似文献
